Dosage:
Administered
orally (capsule, tablet, sprinkle, syrup)

Adult:
PO 100-400mg every 4-6 hours or 600mg sustained release every
12 hours, not to exceed 2.4g daily

Child:
PO (6-12 years) 100-200mg every 4 hours, not to exceed 1.2g
daily; (2-6 years) 50-100mg every 4 hours, not to exceed 600mg daily
