  • Many organizations (e.g., ACOG, JAMA, etc.) stand behind the evidenced-based 5 A’s approach – we should, too. A 5-15 minute talk with a patient could save their lives as well as the lives of their future children.

  • Consider this: “Eliminating smoking during pregnancy would reduce infant deaths by 5% and reduce the incidence of low birthweight singleton births by 10%.”1
