| General Biographical Description: | Steven J. Ory completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota; and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. He served on the faculty at Northwestern University in Chicago prior to returning to the Mayo Clinic. He served as Chairman of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Director of the Fellowship Program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Mayo Clinic from 1985 through 1995. Since 1995 he has been in private practice in Margate, Florida; and currently serves as Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Florida International University and Voluntary Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami. Dr Ory is a past president of the Fort Lauderdale Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Society for Humanism in Medicine, and serves as an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. |
