General Biographical Description: | Dr. Ferenczy is Full Professor of Pathology and Obstetrics & Gynecology at McGill University, Montreal. He is Head of Gynecological Pathology and Cytology of the Sir Mortimer B. Davis-Jewish General Hospital and practices colposcopy at the same institution for the past 35 years.
Dr. Ferenczy has been active in clinical research focusing on HPV infections, including prophylactic HPV vaccines as well as in endocrine pathology of the endometrium. He has published extensively in these respective fields, and is involved in national and international CME activities. He is a reviewer of many scientific journals including Obstetrics & Gynecology, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Journal of the American Medical Association, Cancer, The Lancet, NEJM, etc.
