General Biographical Description: Dr. Lee is a Board-certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist who graduated Cum Laude and received his MD from Yale University School of Medicine in 1993. Thereafter, he did his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard Medical School. In 2000, he completed a reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at University of Washington School of Medicine. In July 2000, he became an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Oregon Health & Science University with a joint appointment in Pediatrics. He is a Collaborative Scientist in the Division of Reproductive Sciences at the Oregon National Primate Research Center, and the Director of Pediatric Gynecology at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital at the Oregon Health & Science University. His major research interest is the preservation of reproductive potential in young cancer survivors, which resulted in the first primate birth from transplanted ovarian tissue (Nature 2004;428, Mar. 11:137-8). He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Society of Reproductive Surgeons. Besides being a member of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, he is on the Board of Trustees (May 2006-09). He is also a National Advisory Board member for fertile HOPE (a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients faced with infertility).

Special Interests: Dr. Lee specializes in treating patients not only with problems of infertility but also with Müllerian anomalies and intersex disorders, and pediatric gynecological conditions, and has expertise in tubal surgery.
